This leadership position supervises a team of both remote and in-office Business Intelligence & Analytics staff responsible for worldwide management and execution of cross-functional projects and reports, tools development, and maintenance, throughout the project/solution lifecycle for a key SecureWorks’ Managed Security Services (MSS) customer. Accountable for developing, defining and executing project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables. Identify resources for projects, define and assign major project roles to staff. Provide technical support and direction and monitor work of technical personnel, ensuring that project steps are in alignment with business objectives, on-time and within budgets. Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Develop, modify and execute policies and standard processes, tools and analysis that senior management uses to make effective decisions.
Responsible for the overall direction and management of projects through designated project program management staff, ensuring consistency with corporate strategy and Statements of Work (SOW), consistency of process across projects and driving customer satisfaction with the services. Partner with senior level management to ensure plans are integrated with broader corporate, segment and/or functional strategies, budgets, schedules and plans. Influence internal leadership on decisions relating to critical priorities and schedules.
Collaborates with external customer’s business leaders, comprehending complex business factors to develop and implement strategic plans and business objectives. Ensures and facilitates team collaboration with cross-functional organizations to create compelling, compliant and thorough deliverables. Has regular contact with senior level management inside and outside the company; contacts involve clarification or modification of projects, plans, operational decisions, billing and invoices, technical matters, and/or scheduling requirement
-Manage a dedicated team consisting of Project Managers, Business Intelligence Analysts and Engineers.
-Contribute when needed to the production of required reports while meeting SLAs.
-Supervise timely and accurate assignments, processing (according to SLAs) and auditing of activities within assigned team. Reporting for assigned areas – e.g. Quality report, SLA report, Production Numbers, Forecasting, etc.
-Partner with client to ensure operational metrics are met.
-Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, cost savings, and business improvement.
-Identify gaps, develop strategy, and create operational plans in support of Company vision.
-Supervise overall reporting project schedule, prioritization and action plans to ensure project commitments are met.
-Supervise tool development and maintenance, prioritization of work and participate in requirements gathering and translation from business requestors to technical implementation personnel.
-Supervise functional reporting requirements, developing metrics and measuring project success. Supervise resolution of problems with reporting and has responsibility for maintenance of reporting systems.
-Lead, motivate, and train staff to meet and exceed goals and objectives. Coach and direct staff to achieve departmental and personal goals; perform performance appraisals.
-Meet monthly with client to obtain approvals to invoice based on device count reconciliation, provide all billing (device recurring, reporting recurring, MAC Banding recurring, Expedites non-recurring, Projects non-recurring, PO non-recurring) approvals and information to Sales Ops and Finance.
-Collaborate with senior management to compile monthly DT scorecard, operations briefs, and other metrics as required for inclusion in executive level reporting.
As a managed security provider, SecureWorks expects its employees to understand and apply commonly known security practices and possess a working knowledge of applicable industry controls such as NIST 800-53. Employees will be expected to acknowledge their security responsibilities in writing prior to gaining access to company systems. Employees will be required to maintain a working knowledge of local security policies and execute general controls as assigned.
-5+ years of relevant project management experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
-3 + years leadership experience preferred.
-10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
-Experience managing enterprise client service relationships
-Experienced with program and project management methodologies and practices in a technology environment.
-Experienced in metrics management, reporting, and service level understanding.
-Experienced with financial reporting methodologies and billing and invoicing processes.
-Undergraduate Degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Information Technology or 2-4 years of relevant experience or Graduate degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience
-ITIL Foundations Certification.
Demonstrates strong ability develop new processes and procedures.
-Flexible work hours (May require supervisor support after normal hours).
-Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with an ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization and with external partners.
