The Security Service Assurance will act as a subject matter expert that will oversee the security infrastructure to assure that proper needed changes are being requested, tested, implemented according to the policies and best practices so that these will not interfere or impact any other platforms, servers or end users.
Skybox will be the common toolset consumed for performing actions on the network domain platforms. The suite of tools includes (but is not limited to) the following: CISCO ASA, ISE, VPN; Varonis; Bluecoat, SafeNet; McAfee; IronKey; CyberArk; InfoBlox; OKTA; Quest Change Auditor; Symantec DLP; Snare; CarbonBlack; FireEye. Activities include:
Continuous Process Improvement - Working in close relationship with the client in order to identify areas of improvement and to gradually enhance the service while the agreed upon SLAs are followed
Install, Move, Add, and Change (IMAC) - Support IMAC to the current deployment on request.
Deployment coverage verification - Test if the tools coverage is known and if it’s driven towards completeness.
Audits - Perform audits in order to establish if the baseline configuration policies has been followed and conduct demand assessments.
Governance - Perform governance activities in order to guarantee adherence to standards and to incorporate risk reduction and the closure of present security gaps in the overall process.
Maintain knowledge of current security trends and be able to clearly communicate them to Client.
Work with Client to assist with technical security escalations.
Keep Client abreast of problem status, set clear expectations, provide timely follow-up to Client and independently handle challenging Client situations on a daily basis.
Maintain knowledge of outstanding development issues and communicate development roadmap to Client as appropriate.
Learn and adapt to client’s culture, security strategies, security goals, security objectives, and security capabilities
As a managed security provider, SecureWorks expects its employees to understand and apply commonly known security practices and possess a working knowledge of applicable industry controls such as NIST 800-53. Employees will be expected to acknowledge their security responsibilities in writing prior to gaining access to company systems. Employees will be required to maintain a working knowledge of local security policies and execute general controls as assigned.
Minimum of 3 years of experience deploying and overseeing security platforms and solutions
Minimum of 1 year of server, application and network security hardening experience
Working knowledge/experience of network and Windows systems security principles and applications, exposure and experience in data protection, cloud, email/web security gateways, endpoints, routers, firewalls, VPN’s and wireless devices
Detailed knowledge of security technologies and trends
Ability to understand the Client security policy and deploy controls that govern the program
Very strong written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects and assist/advise support engineers in establishing appropriate priorities
Self-starter; Ability to motivate others
Possess active Security certifications such as: CISSP, CISA, QSA, GIAC, OSCP
