Dell Sr Advisor Solutions Architect in District of Columbia, Washington

Job Description:


  • Provide technical leadership and delivery of the technical backup architectural design, strategies, and plans that will be delivered on an on-going basis

  • Responsible for ongoing management of configuration and layout of backup infrastructure

  • Provide analysis of the supported environment and Best Practice knowledge transfer

  • Responsible for Run Book design, development, and ongoing updates

  • Responsible for ongoing recommendations and best practices, as applicable, for business continuity, high availability, backup, recovery, and archiving

  • Responsible for capacity planning as well as disaster recovery planning and design as applicable

  • Providing ITIL process planning as applicable

  • Participating in Root Cause Analysis reviews as applicable

Critical Hiring Criteria:


  • Avamar administration (current within the last 3-4 years) including backups and restores, policy management, dataset creation/modification, scheduling, and replication

  • Avamar troubleshooting and performance tuning.

  • Secret Clearance Required
