Dell Manager 2, Systems Engineering (India-sales) in Gurgaon, India

Job Description:


In this role you will manage all activities of the presales resources across Dell EMC ISG Portfolio of solutions. In conjunction with sales and management you develop strategies to direct resources toward the largest and most profitable Dell EMC opportunities. As a business partner with sales management, you manage the organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and alignment of all technical resources with clear services bookings and product revenue goals. You will also provide advice and counsel to sales management in the effective use and deployment of technical resources.


  • Provide Technical Thought Leadership & Presales Activities Execution with Customers & Partners for Dell EMC ISG Solution Portfolio

  • Inspecting account penetration strategies including account specific ISG products and solution sales plans for major accounts.

  • Maintaining business networks across the organization and customer based in support of sales team objectives and engage and leverage corporate resources, abilities, budgets and personnel as appropriate.

  • Inspecting major technical sales plans insuring that sales and technical organizations are properly aligned to achieve objectives and Total Customer Experience.

  • Inspecting configuration and documentation of Dell EMC software, hardware and service solutions to meet customer and sales objectives.

  • Maintaining a strong customer account focus and represents Dell EMC.

  • Managing escalations and following through until successfully resolved.

  • Communicating organizational and functional strategy and translating it into functional goals.

  • Selecting and managing programs for the Systems Engineers community

  • Management of the technical resource plan for the Region


  • 15 Years + IT Experience, preferably in providing Datacenter specific Solutions for Enterprise Customers in the region

  • Proven Ability to Work & Manage Business in a matrix and a highly demanding environment.
