Key Responsibilities:

People manager responsible for ensuring Dell EMC’s products and services are sold to specified customer segments. Motivates and drives the inside sales organization to meet or exceed all performance objectives through effective management of frontline sales managers and resources. The Inside Sales Account Management Senior Manager Channel focuses on delivering a positive customer experience according to Dell EMC standards and may be responsible for quota setting at the team/individual level.
She/he understands complexities of the environment and works within Dell EMC to solve complex business issues

  • Coordinates (where appropriate) operations and manages the relationship between Channel and segments

  • Manages and develops managers

  • Manages spread from transactional to Relationship business

  • Trains and develops the segment leader

  • Drives New Business

  • Sets focus for inside team and helps sets focus of vertical/business

  • Drives focus with cross-business functions and Drives business process improvement efforts

    Essential Requirements:

  • 10 or more years management experience, preferred with channel partner

  • 5 or more years sales experience with ability to build sales forecasts in any segment, preferred with channel partners

  • University degree (FH, Bachelor, Diplom, Master, BA) - preferred in business administration

  • Able to set priorities and keep team focused on the important tasks

  • Strategic, transformational thinker and inspirational leader – ideally with knowledge in regards change management

  • Experience in driving training and development plans for organization

  • Dell EMC process knowledge preferred in the channel and can build strong relationships within and external to Dell

    Desirable Requirements:

    Experinece in roles in multiple segments or other businesses

    Field sales experience a plus
