Job Description:


Responsible for the evaluation, development and implementation of pricing strategies based on current business and competitive environment. Conducts research and performs competitive pricing analysis and trends. Develops and maintains competitive pricing databases designed to support pricing information decisions. Performs analyses on customer price sensitivity and elasticity. Works in conjunction with other marketing, sales, development and finance functions on setting prices, testing pricing strategies, determining go-to-market pricing on new product launches.


  • Takes strong leadership positions in developing pricing for customers. Given responsibility for pricing on less complex deals. May work directly with Solutions Principals in helping to validate configurations and work with account teams on proposals. Assists in creating forecasts and performs risk analysis.

  • Consistently analyzes problems by using a logical systematic process to assist in decision-making. Works with the more senior members of the team on the more complex pricing transactions. Uses standardized modeling tools to create product and labor rates.

  • Utilizes strong business acumen to consult with sales teams, Senior managers and across functions with other senior leads at EMC.

  • Possesses a strong command of the business, including financial, product and system knowledge in order to holistically understand pricing for customers.


  • Ability to analyze information and draw accurate conclusions.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Education Required: Bachelors (Non -Technical)

Experience Required: 4+ years relevant experience
