Dell Marketing Manager (Small Business) in KAWASAKI, Japan
The primary objective of this position is to deliver Business and Marketing Metrics by leading different Marketing functions and collaborating with Sales. This role will report to Japan CSB Marketing Director.
Business scope: Japan Small Business
Lead strategic marketing planning with, Product Marketing, Sales Ops, CRM, Finance, Media Agency, and Global Marketing Ops team
Tracking and providing value added analysis on key metrics of business and marketing performance
Marketing Planning – beginning & End of the Quarter
Annual / Quarterly Planning
Lead Marcom budget / campaign planning with Media Planning, Product Marketing, CRM, Vendor Fund team, and global team
Work to set key targets to drive success such around areas as Marketing ROI, Partner fund mix, Calls and Clicks. Marketing Analysis – middle of the Quarter
Marketing Performance Analysis and Management
Tracking performance of marketing metrics daily/weekly
Identify root cause of the performance and take action with cross functional team
Weekly interlocks with Directors and presents critical business weaknesses and presents applicable solutions. Spend Management
Monitoring spending progress by using internal Budget planning tool
Anticipate and Mitigate overspend or underspend risk by collaborating with local segment, VF marketing, and global marketing team
Report out the outlook in timely manner to Marketing Managements
Required Education & Experience
Undergraduate business degree, MBA degree preferred.
Demonstrated capability to address complex and ambiguous business problems with minimal guidance.
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong presentation abilities which are used to engage with GMs to influence decision-making & facilitate change.
Ability to rally support across sales and marketing leaders to influence decision-making & facilitate change within the business.
Ability to deliver quality results under stress and intense time-pressures.
Minimum 10 years business and Marketing experiences, preferably with Consumer or SB business.
Strong English proficiency required to interact with sales and marketing leaders in face to face, phone to phone interactions.
Outstanding MS Excel and PowerPoint technical skills required
The ideal candidate has prior experience in Business or Marketing consulting capacity
