Role: Senior Consultant, Archer GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance)

Overview

RSA Professional Services is focused helping customers across all industries get a return on their investment in RSA’s products, through the end-to-end delivery of consulting and technical solutions, and by supporting and enabling RSA’s partners to deliver their solutions.

This role is dedicated to the RSA Archer product suite. The role requires a strong Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) focus and the incumbent is responsible for delivery of consulting and implementation projects centred on RSA Archer. This may include scoping, requirements gathering and analysis, consulting and advisory services, high-level and detailed design, implementation, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and operational handover and knowledge transfer.

Reporting to the Manager of RSA Professional Services in APJ, the successful candidate will work closely with the customer, RSA project managers, the RSA account team, and RSA’s delivery partners to ensure a smooth delivery of projects across the full life-cycle. The role also involves supporting partner consultants during their delivery of RSA solutions.

While the role is focused in Japan, the ability to work at various times across multiple time zones and geographical and cultural boundaries is important.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work on-site or remotely as part of a team to deliver RSA Archer enterprise solutions to corporate and financial industry customers.

  • Capture and document the customer’s business processes and functional and non-functional requirements

  • Do detailed design of RSA Archer-based solutions that meet the business requirements and constraints

  • Implement, integrate, and test RSA Archer solutions, including installation, product configuration, and specifying any custom code requirements, for development by remote or offshore RSA consultants.

  • Assist with transitioning solutions to business-as-usual operations, including change management, knowledge sharing, documentation, issue resolution, and support activities.

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the RSA Archer services portfolio and the underlying technologies and delivery methodology.

  • Provide consulting services to customers and partners on RSA Archer products and solutions.

  • Assist from time to time with services pre-sales activities, including scoping, estimation, planning, scheduling, and assisting with statements of work and document templates.

  • Establish good relationships with technical counterparts in RSA, and in our customers’ and partners’ organisations

  • Maintain an active knowledge of current industry trends and new technologies

  • Travel as required, typically up to 20% within Japan and APJ

Key Competencies

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree, ideally in a technical field

  • Background in consulting variety of companies in various industries including Banking and Finance, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Statutory organizations.

  • 3+ years of relevant business and technical experience in the GRC field, ideally in medium-to-large enterprise environments. This should include audit, risk, policy, and compliance management, and with exposure to areas such as business continuity, operational risk, incident management, vendor risk, asset management, or security operations.

  • A good understanding of business process, web forms-based data capture, workflow, data integration (CSV and XML), and databases.

  • General understanding of information, application, and network security. For installation work, it is important to have a good appreciation of IT platform components such as Windows Server, IIS, MS SQL Server, including clustered and HA environments, system administration and monitoring.

  • Experience with GRC tools (Archer, CRM and ERP), consulting, and project implementations preferred.

  • Very good verbal and written Japanese and English skills, including developing technical documentation and operations guides.

  • Good presentation and workshop facilitation skills

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA or CISM desired.
