The Internal Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for building strong relationships and ensuring a strong customer experience with existing and potential customers. A key aspect of this role is to develop Dell EMC’s Client Solutions (Desktop, Notebooks, Workstations, Tablets Software & Peripherals), Enterprise Solutions (Servers, Storage & Networking) and associated Services (Support, Deployment, Dell EMC Financial Services) within their portfolio.
As well as building business with existing customers, the scope of the role will also include developing relationships with new clients. You will be working with other Dell EMC functions including Sales Operations, Customer Care, Brand, Finance and Logistics to deliver a positive customer experience. You will:
Achieve targets by selling, up-selling and cross-selling our technology solutions using outbound calling, consultative and influencing selling techniques to create positive results for Dell EMC, our distributors and our customers
Maintain good business relationships with customers to conduct needs analysis, relay product information and provide technical specifications, quotations and tenders
Work closely with outside sales representatives and distributors to acquire new opportunities
Conduct regular business reviews with customers and distributors
Develop robust account plans and pipelines to achieve business targets and grow Dell EMC’s market share
Educated to Degree level or equivalent
Excellent phone and communication skills, written and spoken in English and Norwegian
At least two years’ experience in IT selling to end-user customers in the public sector
Demonstrable account management experience preferably selling client solutions or services
Ability to act as a sales consultant to support customer and distributor needs
The time management skills to meet multiple demands in a complex and changing environment
Experience in a cross-functional team
Financial acumen and data analysis skills
Experience working with Microsoft suite of software and ideally Salesforce.com
