Dell Manager 2, Direct Sales in Pleasanton, California
The Manager, Direct Sales is responsible for achieving assigned sales quotas and goals through partners located within a defined geographic territory or account list. Prospects and develops business with and/or on behalf of partners, assists in RFP responses, and develops proposals for presentation to customers.
Supervises field based individual contributors Helps maintain and guide focus for outsid+B8:E8e team and may assist with setting focus of vertical, business, channel, and/or segment
Works with cross-business functions to achieve results
Supports business process improvement efforts
Basic understanding of the complexities of the environment and works to solve complex business issues
Collaborates with other functions where necessary to resolve escalations/customer issues quickly

Critical Hiring Criteria:
Masters (Non -Technical)
Typically 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Typically requires 0+ years managerial/leadership experience
Intermediate understanding of customer/industry climate
Developing understanding in solutions and technical acumen
