Job Description:

The Manager, Direct Sales is responsible for achieving assigned sales quotas and goals through partners located within a defined geographic territory or account list. Prospects and develops business with and/or on behalf of partners, assists in RFP responses, and develops proposals for presentation to customers.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supervises field based individual contributors Helps maintain and guide focus for outsid+B8:E8e team and may assist with setting focus of vertical, business, channel, and/or segment

  • Works with cross-business functions to achieve results

  • Supports business process improvement efforts

  • Basic understanding of the complexities of the environment and works to solve complex business issues

  • Collaborates with other functions where necessary to resolve escalations/customer issues quickly

  • Typically 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Typically requires 0+ years managerial/leadership experience

  • Intermediate understanding of customer/industry climate

  • Developing understanding in solutions and technical acumen
