Job Description:

Commerical Territory Director

This position is ideal for an experienced Commercial/Enterprise Sales Manager who can lead a dynamic Commercial sales/enablement team. The Commerical Territory Director is responsible for the overall sales strategies and for generating results from assigned Commercial regions. Plan, direct and help execute all sales activities and selling resources. Collaboration with Core sales leadership, DCSE leadership, Specialty sales and CPSD is key to success.


  • Growing CPSD revenue in all territories

  • Hiring Top talent

  • Responsible for directing Territory Sales reps in each region

  • Strategic sales plan

  • Coordination of Sales resources

  • Account acquisition targeting

  • CPSD awareness amongst leaders

  • Selecting and activating key territory channel partners

  • Handling escalations for team

  • Engage senior Dell EMC territory leaders in the business finding ways to team to grow business within all assigned territories

  • Team with channel in territory and set expectations for Commercial Territory Sales Reps on engaging/enabling/and selling with key partners

  • Act as negotiator, reach appropriate resolution in many varied situations without damaging internal or external relationships.

  • Insures high post-sales satisfaction that enables repeat business with customers.

  • Drives Commercial Territory Sales Rep behavior through corporate mandates, coaching, and sales relationship alignment.

  • Identifies and resolves issues before they become problems

  • Has the ability to effectively interface at many levels with top executives.


Ideal candidate will have expertise in complex sales campaigns focused on data center solutions. Must be highly organized and a seasoned sales expert with exceptional relationship development skills coupled with a history of consistent goal achievement within a highly resources-matrixes environment with a history of consistent goal achievement within a highly resource-matrixes environment.

  • Ability to influence others to achieve results.

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and direct a work group.

  • Ability to prioritize projects and/or deliverables.

  • 12+ years of prominent, enterprise account management experience, including 4+ years management experience.

  • Ability to drive accurate and timely decisions and manage in a matrix environment.

  • Ideal candidates will possess operational command of the business and have proven mentoring and coaching skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.
