Account manager acts as the customer advocate for IT Operations through relationships with the business and IT segment leadership. Account managers fills role of an escalation point to raise visibility to issues affecting the customer through understanding of business impact. The role also takes an leadership position in driving cross functional efforts to resolve specific issues. Success of the role is determined by customer satisfaction as well availability and performance of systems and application environments.

Role Responsibilities •Escalation point for the business, hold regular meetings to discuss open issues •Drive cross-functional stability efforts (e.g., SWAT) •Work with customers to assess and prioritize incidents •Ensure that instability is highlighted to IT leaders through accurate and meaningful reporting •Identify and drive process gaps across IT segments, business partners, and IT Operations

**Requirements

•6 years of experience within IT

•Strong communication skills both written and verbal

•Understands the core business process and purpose of the functional area.

•Places issues in context of organizational and functional objectives.

•In-depth customer knowledge to provide appropriate solutions.

•Develops and applies project management techniques.

•Broad knowledge within own specialty discipline.

•Deep specialized knowledge in specific aspects of discipline.

•Enhances own knowledge through understanding business trends and objectives.

•Understands and foresees implications of decisions.

•Knowledge of industry and business principles.

Preferences

•Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field
