Dell Strategic Planning Consultant, Customer Programs in ROUND ROCK, Texas

Customer experience improvement is an area of great focus on the industry. It is directly tied to increased customer loyalty and a proven driver of top- and bottom-line revenue. The Strategic Planning Consultant will support the Chief Customer Office’s Strategy team in program management of all initiatives and improvements to ultimately strengthen our relationships with our customers. Success in this role will require someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and can easily interface with multiple stakeholders across a vast number of touchpoints.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the portfolio of initiatives across the CCO teams

  • Ability to connect dots in a complex landscape and guide strategic decisions and timely actions

  • Influence a broad spectrum of stakeholders and project leads towards achieving business goals

  • Liaise between multiple groups to drive the desired outcomes

  • Consider and understand impact of decisions and actions on customers and sales stakeholders

  • Advise and council key leadership on the latest principles, practices, and/or technologies and their practical application

  • Develop and manage program scorecards; simplify and maintain scorecards that will allow for easy action and decision across several organizations

Skills required:

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail – ability to work with many details of multiple projects and keep them organized by priority, timelines and impact

  • Ability to learn quickly and bring an entrepreneurial mindset in the use of tools and other industry standard methods to organize work for accelerated outcomes

  • Very Strong MS power point skills – can take information and distill it for all levels of the organization

  • Strong relationship building abilities i.e. ability to build trust, work with people and support their deliverables

  • 8-10 years of experience with an understanding of project management. Or an MBA with 6+ years of experience

  • PMP or Green Belt Certification is a plus
