Internal Communications Manager
RSA is looking for an experienced and passionate communicator to join our Corporate Communications team. As a senior contributing member to the communications team, this individual will develop and implement global internal communications strategies that creatively amplify and strengthen our brand, culture, values and employee engagement and help drive the rapid response process for breaking news, managing the multi-disciplinary process throughout RSA and broadly, Dell Technologies..
Develop an internal communication campaign and editorial calendar to facilitate the delivery of relevant, timely internal news and information that supports RSA’s brand, values, mission, corporate positioning and messaging.
Design and execute communication plans for a variety of internal initiatives and programs and identify the best channels and methods to achieve program objectives.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders, including thought leaders, business and executive leadership.
Educate on and enforce editorial standards and maintain consistency of editorial tone and style.
Work collaboratively with other communications colleagues to ensure an integrated, effective approach across communication platforms.
Establish company best practices and tools for creative internal communications and research new industry tools and techniques for benchmarking and continuous improvement.
Provide communications counsel and support to functions, regions and businesses worldwide on strategic internal communications planning and implementation, and review materials for copy-editing and adherence to corporate branding and style standards.
Drive and perfect the rapid response process at RSA, including activating internal thought leaders and executive staff.
Continue to define what issues are responded to, and what communication channels should be used – including notes to customers, partners and employees.
Broad response should include coordination with the PR teams, social, blog, web team, internal experts from the CISO office, legal, product market, sales and executives. And coordination across Dell Technologies (coordinating responses from the security product groups, and Dell broadly).
Drive creation of an arsenal of new materials to help explain security concepts (e.g., videos, infographics), that can be used for rapid response.
Accomplished writer and editor with 5+ years of experience in communications with a proven ability to be strategic and execute.
Demonstrated skills and knowledge in leveraging both digital and traditional internal channels to create impactful communications that drive awareness and engagement.
Highly effective writing style with expertise in simplifying complex concepts and messages for a broad audience.
Superior editorial and interpersonal skills with a broad range of communications and project management experience.
Demonstrated understanding of tools, techniques and trends for creativity and innovation in communications delivery; courage to bring forward "big ideas".
Regarded as a proven, respected communications consultant to key leaders within an organization.
Highly organized, detail oriented with outstanding follow-through skills.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Naturally upbeat and collaborative but able to work independently to accomplish goals and objectives.
Able to perform with poise under tight deadlines and shifting priorities and can successfully navigate a complex, fast-paced organization.
Self-starter, motivated, with a strong bias on finding solutions and challenging the status quo. Thoughtful with a passion for excellence and desire to learn and grow.
A commitment to adhere to company standards of quality, compliance, integrity and ethics in every aspect of the role.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or equivalent.
