  • Held a Presales, PreSales management, or technical sales role supporting Isilon and/or ECS

  • Technical capabilities: someone who understands the Isilon & ECS technologies and relations to the market. Someone who is confident at the 201/301 level.

  • Able to learn and present/represent the technical aspects of the job

  • Sales acumen; someone who understands how to best position product/bundles/solutions for success and can easily articulate why customers care and the business impact of implementing our products/solutions

  • Business presence: comfortable interacting with all levels of the business to build strong relationships

  • Program/process management skills; clearly someone who is self-motivated and detail oriented to deliver on expected timelines

  • Intangibles; someone who works well under pressure and strives when curve-balls (aka fire drills) are thrown their way

Job Description, as posted:

  • The GTM Readiness Lead represents Sales and PreSales to Product Business Units in order to drive a better customer experience by integrating into the product release cycle and working closely with the Product BU, Education, Enablement, Services, and Channel teams to ensure that Field teams have the readiness components they need to effectively sell and extend the products in our accounts. Provides visibility to the field by leading Readiness Reviews that delivers product release updates and positioning clarity to help maximize the revenue opportunity. Provides visibility to the BU from the field by leading Product Interlocks and Field Forums that consolidates and amplifies the field voice to help shape product direction to make our products more sellable in the market. Identifies larger issues that are blocking or slowing sales and drives remediation through cross functional focus groups from the field and BU

  • Plays a visible leadership role in the acceleration and adoption of Dell EMC products and services. Has deep understanding of Dell EMC and competitive technology and is responsible for translating/applying this knowledge into strategic initiatives. Often interfaces with senior leadership to assess major business operations and addresses product needs. Consults with business unit leads to answer field based questions and remove objections that arise in a sales campaigns.

  • Technical credibility leadership looks to for consultative programs/workshops/etc…

  • A go to resource field leadership uses for immediate answers to BU questions.

  • Firmly engrained in the product release meeting cadence and champion of all things Sales/PreSales related.
