We are seeking an accounts receivable manager that will be a part of the worldwide revenue team. We are looking for a high-energy, hands-on individual that has software and services industry experience and the ability to lead the accounts receivable team, while working independently and as a team player. We are a growing company, looking for individuals that will think outside the box, drive best practices and efficiency, and have a desire to learn and grow with us.

Your Day

In this position you will work daily to ensure the accounts receivable team is meeting the business needs through credit approvals, collections, ad hoc requests, and internal reporting. You will be investigating and resolving queries, reviewing activity that has occurred ensuring accuracy and completeness, working on projects and scaling, to ensure the accounts receivable function is adapting to meet the business needs as we grow. You and your team will work closely as partners with the other teams, such as services operations and sales operations, globally. In this role you will also support month end and quarter end close and work directly with our external auditors. You will ensure cross training amongst team members on roles and responsibilities, ensuring knowledge sharing and backup support, along with team learning and development.

Required Skills / Experiences

  • Seven years or more experience working in Accounts Receivable

  • Three years or more experience managing a small team

  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Solid understanding of sales cycle and order to cash workflow

  • Experience in developing, using and monitoring KPIs

  • Customer service focused

  • Hard worker, detail oriented, and high level of accuracy

  • Experience performing accounts receivable functions, including credit authorizations, cash collections and application, and reporting

  • Proficient with document and spreadsheet tools, such as MS Office and Google

  • A desire for continued learning and development

Desired Skills / Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Accounting/Finance/Business)

  • Experience in process design and improvement

  • Experience performing variance reviews

  • Experience working with non-accounting personnel, such as sales operations

  • Experience working within an ERP system

  • Public accounting firm or corporate accounting experience

  • Experience working with teams in multiple locations

  • Experience working with Workday, Zuora, OpenAir and SalesForce
