We are seeing an experienced revenue accountant that will be a part of the worldwide revenue team. We are looking for a high-energy, hands-on individual that has software revenue recognition experience and has the ability to work independently and as a team player. We are a growing company, looking for individuals that will think outside the box, drive best practices and efficiency, and have a desire to learn and grow with us.

Your Day

In this position you will work daily on requests that come into the team related to current transactions, as well as analyzing and review closed transactions, support month end and quarter end close, prepare reporting, and work directly with our external auditors.

Required Skills / Experiences

  • Working experience with US GAAP, including Software Revenue Recognition (SOP 97 and EITF 08-01) and Multiple Element Arrangements

  • Knowledge of ASC 606 Contracts with Customers and impacts to Software Accounting

  • Experience applying accounting rules to contracts

  • Experience analyzing, reviewing, and determining journal entries

  • Hard worker, detail oriented, and high level of accuracy

Desired Skills / Experiences

  • Qualified / Licensed Accountant, CPA, CA preferred five years of experience

  • Experience analyzing data and performing studies, such as VSOE analysis

  • Experience preparing and reviewing reconciliations

  • Experience performing variance reviews and forecasting

  • Experience working with non-accounting personnel, such as sales operations

  • Big four accounting firm experience would be an asset
