Account Executive, Direct Sales - Winnipeg, MB Canada (Remote)

Dell, Inc. is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for an Account Executive to join our Direct Sales team in Winnipeg, MB .

The Account Executive works with named or large key accounts to provide product solutions, develop new business, and to ensure satisfaction, and maintain positive ongoing relationships. Works with other internal sales personnel to propose specific solutions for a given account. Responsible for the overall sales strategies and generating results from the client. Plans and directs all sales activities and selling resources. May have responsibility for the pre-sales function.

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory/product line.

  • This job represents a balanced sales effort of product and services knowledge and selling skills

  • Grows the territory/account base to attain financial objectives

  • Understands customers’ business and solutions requirements

  • Territory/account management, including account planning and sales forecasting

  • Customarily and regularly engaged with decision makers at client facilities in performing primary duties

  • Leads sales process and utilizes all available resources to manage account

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related sales experience in a relationship selling role with a Bachelor’s degree

  • Able to influence others to achieve results

  • In-depth knowledge of and skilled in contract interpretation, negotiations and project management

  • In-depth knowledge of strategic planning

  • In-depth knowledge of company products and services

  • In-depth oral, written, and presentation communication skills to interact with upper leadership, staff, vendors and clients
