The Client Software Marketing team has an exciting, ground-floor opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated leader to build a multi-year strategy that defines the future for Dell’s Client OS landscape. This will include engaging with customers, managing and building new partnerships, defining a multi-year roadmap, and being the SME for sales and go-to-market activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management and software marketing coupled with a deep understanding of Windows and Linux-based operating systems.
Manage the overall Operating Systems strategic roadmap and got-to-market activities
Leverage market and customer insights to identify new opportunities and partnerships
Define high-level strategy and market requirements and direct product management efforts
Develop proposals and present to Sr. leadership to get strategic alignment
Create presentations and launch collateral to communicate widely; ensure a successful launch and market adoption
Train sales and customers on new offerings
Be a resounding voice for Dell in industry events and forums
Bachelor’s degree required
Product Management and Marketing experience
5+ years relevant experience in the software or computer
Prefer candidates with technical degree and an MBA
Expertise on Linux and non-Windows operating systems
Ability to establish and articulate a mufti-year product portfolio vision
Executive communication, presentation and collaboration skills
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage ambiguity
Business and technology savvy
Partner management experience
Launch marketing and social media experience
