Windows 2008 Operating Systems
Basic knowledge in MSSQL Server 2008
Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Failover Clusters, SCOM & SCCM
Linux operating Systems [Good to have]
VMware ESXi\vSphere 5.1 & 5.5 [Good to have]
Ability to work in a team environment.
Proficiency in hardware, software and/or operating systems environments.
Strong technical aptitude.
Knowledge of the technical aspects of hardware/software subject matter.
Problem solving skills.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot all SourceOne server related issues L2/L3 support
Deploy, Configure and Manage SourceOne instances
Troubleshoot all Windows 2008 server related issues L2/L3 support
Installation of critical updates and patches using WSUS to all the servers
Perform Security Health Check of Windows servers and other compliance.
Install, Configure and Support Microsoft Failover Clusters
AD Replication monitoring and regular health checks to be performed.
Creating Group Policies and implementation as per standard procedures.
Work on implementing new SCOM alerts configuration and SCCM management.
Good Understanding of virtualization technology, Experience on VMware ESX 5.1 and 5.5 on V sphere would be preferable.
VM Monitoring through VC, Troubleshooting performance related issues.
Troubleshoot resource bottlenecks Memory, CPU, Disk & Network.
Good hands on command line of ESX.
Good hands on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESX server environment.
Good understanding of HA and DRS environment.
Experience in backup and recovery of Virtual machines and virtual servers.
Experience with server platforms, HP blade servers.
Perform timely Patch management as per the Schedule.
Perform Change Management as per the process.
Support to all BAU [Business as usual] calls.
