Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Audit and control payroll processing of interns

  • Prepare pay instructions and liaise with payroll vendor for timely process the payrolls

  • Audit interface files that are loaded in the payroll system on a daily basis (general data of active and termed team member)

  • Ensure all payroll process are in compliance with company’s policies and procedures. Document and maintain desktop procedures up to date. Participate in audit performed by GAT and external auditors.

  • Work with payroll team members and internal auditors to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations

  • Complete cases receive via Service Now related to employee’s payment, timecard adjustments, Union contributions, etc.

  • Interact with internal customer thru Walk Up Model in Manufacturing , attend staff meetings and deliver training if required

  • Prepare purchase orders of payroll vendors thu internal tool (Ariba)

  • Support onboarding and offboarding of Hortolandia site

  • Analyze problems by conducting accurate and timely research in order to present possible solutions

  • Continuously seek opportunities to make recommendations for improvements of process and systems through innovation

  • Interact with Brazil’s Union to ensure compliance with local requirements

  • Candidate must be detailed oriented, analytical and organized

  • Work on assignments that are extremely complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations

  • Willingness and capability to learn a large number of policies and procedures throughout their stay in this role and have the ability to apply this knowledge

  • Support with termination process - homologation

  • Support legal request for documentation – record management


  • 2 years payroll processing experience in a high-volume, multi-state environment

  • Knowledge in local statutory and tax requirement

  • Proficient verbal and written English communication skills

  • Work successfully in a fast paced, high volume and multi-tasking environment

  • Able to multi task while maintaining integrity and quality of service

  • Work self-directed and have a high acumen for learning on the fly

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Ability to gather, organize, audit and document payroll data

  • Strong organizational skills to drive for results

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Professional and courteous - candidate will interact with internal team members (individual contributors, Leaders and Executives) and external customers

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Applications
