IT Compliance Analyst

Location: Round Rock, TX

General Summary:

The Audit and Compliance (A&C) team's mission is to call attention to risks, drive process improvement, cost reductions, and validating Dell Digital and IT compliance to statuary, regulatory, Quality and contractual requirements. The team partners with functional leaders to accomplish its mission.

The A&C team is looking for a full-time IT Compliance Analyst. In this role, you’ll be working with our Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Security, and IT teams to remain compliant with various regulations. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with IT teams to ensure that they are in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations

  • Work with external and internal auditors throughout the year to remain compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations

  • Work with IT teams to ensure compliance with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery standards

  • Develop documentation on processes as needed

  • Mentor team members and share acquired knowledge

  • Complete other tasks as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or equivalent experience in audit required with 5+ years relevant experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years relevant experience; or equivalent work experience

  • Position requires proof of U.S. Citizenship as it provides support to our Federal IT team

  • Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Management best practices

  • Highly motivated

  • Interested in learning and taking on increasingly complex tasks

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written

  • Detail-oriented

  • Time management skills

  • Ability to negotiate with other teams without inhibiting productivity

  • Ability to work individually and within a team

  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of applications
