Role Overview

This position would work on implementing and supporting a global enterprise application/network environment. As part of a global team, this role would provide network HW/SW support, application support and innovative solutions supporting a global enterprise validation team. The role would also provide daily maintenance on critical infrastructure and applications needed to keep the business running.

The successful candidate will be technically savvy when it comes to enterprise solution environments (Microsoft Enterprise Applications and Network HW/SW). Be able to take the lead on projects from initiation to completion. Perform requirements analysis and develop network solutions to provide services needed by the organization. May prepare and maintain operating procedures and associated documentation. Ensure that all documentation is in place and kept up to date.


  • Architect, deploy and maintain Windows and VMware operating systems (Windows Server 2012, 2016, etc. and VMware ESXi 6.5, etc.) in an enterprise environment

  • Maintain and monitor a global Windows Active Directory deployment

  • Architect, deploy and maintain Exchange 2013+ and SQL Server 2014/2016 in an enterprise environment

  • Responsible for ensuring proper deployment of new hardware including servers, switches, and storage arrays

  • Observe activities within the area, monitoring the effectiveness of all policies and procedures with the intent of making improvements in efficiency and responsiveness within the lab environment

  • Maintain a working knowledge of all documented processes and procedures

  • Suggest and implements improvements as necessary

  • Identifies opportunities for improvements in efficiency and responsiveness, makes recommendations and implements efficiencies as necessary

  • Answer technical, product-specific questions regarding current systems, configurations, and microcode revisions

  • Identify system or storage performance issues and develop tools for enhanced management

  • Ensure lab orderliness, maintains accurate hardware inventory records and publishes best practice procedures for lab operations


  • 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Has consistently applied broad knowledge of operating system, application and network administration to diagnose and resolve network problems. Has served as a resource to others in the resolution of highly complex problems

  • Has advanced knowledge of network performance, hardware and software

  • Effective communication skills within and outside team

  • Has setup and maintained Windows Server 2012/2016 in an enterprise environment

  • Has setup and maintained MS-Exchange Server in an enterprise environment

  • Has working knowledge of VMware and SQL Server

  • Requires 4+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 2+ years with a

  • Master’s degree; or 1+years with a PhD; or equivalent experience


  • MCSE certification

  • VCP6-DCV

  • RHCE: Red hat Certified Engineer

  • CompTIA Server* CCNP: Cisco Certified Network Professional
