Country Marketing Manager – Dell EMC Sweden

Dell EMC’s Marketing Team has a vision to become a world-class, innovative and customer-focused marketing organization. In Stockholm, we are looking for a marketing expert to take on the role of Country Marketing Manager. The Country Marketing Manager (CMM) is responsible for planning, developing and implementing segment marketing plans for the Country or for the segment within the Country scope. You will be working with key stakeholders such as Sales Management and EMEA Marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

The CMM will ensure the strategic marketing plan is delivered to our Customers and sales Teams with our OMNI channel Go-To-Market (Direct/Channel/Distribution). You will also build awareness and credibility of our products- and solutions offerings in close collaboration with the Field Marketing Managers, Event managers, Channel Marketing Manager and Distribution Marketing Manager resources through appropriate marketing vehicles (promotions, events, online & offline tools, collaterals).

The role requires close cooperation with local sales leadership and solid understanding of Customers IT-challenges, needs and expectations.

  1. Sales Enablement
  • Lead, Discuss, align and communicate Marketing Plan with the Swedish Country SMT and secure commitment.

  • In collaboration with Business Intelligence (BI), manage market segmentation,drive analysis and conclusions on Customer lifecycle management.

  • Drive optimization of LOB-conversion throughout the account base.

  • Significantly contribute to the forecasting process driven by EMEA PLE Commercial Business Managers and the Finance Team. Make sure the forecast plan is reflected in supportive marketing activities.

  • Be the voice of internal Customers to EMEA to ensure marketing priorities are relevant to local market.

  • Define relevant messaging through understanding of Customer needs.

  • Work with the Marcom Team on development and implementation of demand generation programs in the segment. This includes providing feedback, approval and support for implementation, e.g. localization.

  • Participate in EMEA Marketing Team meetings to share experiences, agree on joint priorities and EMEA wide programs and drive best practice.

  1. Business Management
  • Organize Weekly Sales Team briefings (MMM) and regular sales floor animations.

  • Provide sales Teams with clear guidelines on marketing strategy, directions and coming activities.

  • Leverage demand generation deliverables produced in other Countries or through specific programs and produce original pieces as needed.

  • Manage sales/internal communications platforms.

  • Organize quarterly animations and power days/trainings for sales organization in collaboration with Sales Management.

  • Review financial performance regularly and work with Field Marketing Managers (FMM’s), Segment Sales Management and EMEA Program Managers to determine tactical marketing & sales programs to help address gaps to forecast.

  • Monitor marketing budgets and optimize ROI on demand generation Opex at Country level.

  1. Program Support
  • Drive the Weekly execution of the plan and use the; Campaign Effectiveness Report (CER) as the KPI to secure Return-On-Marketing-Investments, follow-up on performance and ensure that learning’s are “closed looped” for ongoing improvement.

  • Facilitate EMEA Events and plan for Relationship events delivery in-country based on priorities.

  • Work with Alliance Partners in-country, as required to deliver the business objectives.

  • Part of- and resource in the EMEA PLE Marketing programs Core Team.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in a senior sales and/or marketing role.

  • Entrepreneurial approach and mind-set.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.

  • Demonstrates a high level of productivity and quality.

  • Multitasks effectively, self-starter and operational orientated.

  • Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external Customers.

  • Fluent in Swedish and English.
