Role Responsibilities

  • Lead Order First, Order Ready / Standard (ORS) initiatives and extended teams to support the transformation of Global Configuration Services (GCS) through automated and optimized delivery processes of margin-rich services.

  • Responsible for monitoring and driving adoption of key Order First and ORS initiatives with Dell Sales, GCS End User Computing (EUC) Project Manager, and GCS EUC Project Engineer organizations globally.

  • Share actionable reporting with global and regional project management office (PMO) leaders to drive program adoption with customer-facing project managers.

  • Develop content and implement plans of action to drive program awareness and process adoption with internal and external sales organizations globally.

  • Create collateral (one-pagers / job aides)

  • Lead training calls

  • Insure inclusion of content in training materials / courses

  • Attend staff meetings and gatherings

  • Support the development of processes and guidelines to enable partner delivery of ORS SKUs.

  • Establish and ensure compliance and governance of program metrics, goals and objectives through data analysis, trend identification and ongoing reporting.

  • Manage major risks and solve complex problems or issues through effective contingency plans and proper escalation.

  • Prepare summary emails and slides. Deliver updates across diverse functional leaders and stakeholders with program status or proposals for issue mitigation and resolution.

  • Participate in global core team calls to share status updates and participate in ongoing sustaining of the Order First and ORS process improvement.

  • Document global processes and identify opportunities to implement best-practices in under-performing or non-compliant regions.

  • Maintain repository and support version control of all relevant program documentation.


• 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6+ years with a Master’s degree; or 3+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years proven experience as Global Program Manager or comparable Portfolio Management experience

  • Data analysis experience and mindset. Experience developing Tableau, advanced Excel or comparable scorecards.

  • Relevant experience in areas of services operations: technical support, parts / logistics, field delivery, configuration services, Custom Bid Desk, Program Management, Technical Account Manager, etc.

  • Unquestionable initiative and desire for improvement of complex problems.

  • Comfortable performing in a collaborative, team environment while demonstrating responsibility of assigned tasks.

  • Ability to lead and influence others in face-to-face or remote settings.

  • Ability to scale and adjust across multiple initiatives based on rapidly changing business requirements.
