Key Responsibilities

The Partner Account Manager will be responsible for selling company products, systems and services in assigned territory through indirect sales channels such as VARs. Working with highly skilled sales teams, you will:

  • Ensure partners within their account set, or assigned territory, are enabled to effectively position and sell Dell EMC solution.

  • Works with channel partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding pipeline generation activities, sales strategies, and business opportunities.

  • Provides channel partner feedback to the Dell EMC to match market needs with company products and service offerings.

  • Leads partner prioritization of strategic Dell EMC Lines of business and solutions through certification training and enablement.

  • Develops, motivates and coordinates Dell EMC segment sales team, BU and inside Channel sales team to optimize sales execution.

  • Interfaces between the channel partner and Dell EMC teams to manage conflict and ensure that service level agreements are met.

  • Customarily engaged at partner facilities.

Essential Requirements

  • Business diploma, degree or higher, preferred.

  • Full clean driving License

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working externally in the Commercial Channel of IT.

  • Strong communication, presentation and problem-solving skills

  • Proven success, sales network in the market and region (Swiss German)

Desirable Requirements

  • Fluent in German and English, French an advantage
